The Game of Life Challenge
Welcome to the game of life where you get to play the game of life… through a sim. See what life you are able to get through die rolls and actions.
Setting up:
Start out by creating your sim and having them either live in an apartment (if you have city living) or in a home with the bare essentials. Your sim should start the game with 10,000 simoleons. I recommend playing on a long lifespan for a longer game, but you can play on normal or short if you want.
Once you are completely set up, decide whether you choose the university route or starting a career.
Getting Started:
START CAREER:
If you decide to start a career, roll a 20 sided dice to see what job you will get. Keep in mind, if it needs a degree, you cannot take it and will need to roll again. Check out the career rolls later in the instructions.
START COLLEGE:
Enroll your sim in college and pay the tuition. (I recommend using the mod that shortens college). Roll a 4 sided die to determine how long your sim will be in college. Roll a 12 sided die for what degree they will receive. If your sim doesn’t finish their degree by the time they are finished with college, they will have to drop out and they will NOT get a degree.

Accidental Deaths:
There could be accidental deaths in this game. If that happens, count up your points and end the game.
Stock Market:
When your sim is a young adult and when they get to the adult stage, they will have the opportunity to play the stock market once. You will give 10,000 to the bank in order to play. Choose a number 1-10 and then roll a 10 sided die. If you land on that number. You can collect 50,000 from the bank.
Loans:
There will be times in the game where you will not have the money required to pay for the necessary things. This is when you get a loan. You have to take out 20,000 at a time and when paying it back, you will add on 5,000 for interest. (Basically, don’t go into debt.) You have to pay back all loans when you retire or may pay them back before then.

Once your sim dies, the game is over. Count up how many points you have.
